A History of Wilmad
In the glass rich area of Cumberland County, New Jersey, two glass companies were founded: LabGlass, which specialized in laboratory glassware, and Wilmad, an expert in precision bore borosilicate and quartz glass. In 1996, SP acquired both Wilmad and LabGlass, and, in the early 2000s, the brands were merged into Wilmad-LabGlass.
In 2021 Wilmad-LabGlass’s parent company SP was acquired by ATS’s Life Sciences Division. Today, the brand is known as SP Wilmad and continues being a recognized world leader in NMR & EPR tubes, precision laboratory glassware & custom manufactured OEM Glass.
