Three Decades of Innovation
Genevac was founded in 1990 by Dr. Michael Cole as a small, family-owned business specializing in Cole Vacuum Pumps (CVP) and basic centrifugal evaporators for life science research. In the mid-1990s, responding to the growing needs of combinatorial chemistry, Genevac developed a new class of High-Throughput Evaporators. The launch of the HT Series 1 marked the beginning of Genevac as a leader in evaporation technology. Joining the SP family in 2007, SP Genevac is recognized globally as a leading manufacturer of centrifugal evaporators and concentrators for parallel sample evaporation and has earned a reputation as the solution provider for even the most challenging solvents.
Compatible with a broad range of solvents — including DMSO, HCl, and flammable solvents — our systems are supported by lifetime applications support to ensure reproducibility and ongoing optimization.
Engineered to maintain sample integrity, Dri-Pure® prevents cross-contamination and sample loss, while SampleGenie reduces handling steps to preserve consistency and maximize recovery.
The system supports a wide range of sample formats — including microplates, vials, tubes, bottles, and flasks — and scales from research to production without increasing lab footprint.
Automation-ready and easy to use, the platform integrates into existing workflows and features an intuitive touchscreen with pre-set and customizable methods for efficient operation.
Patented technologies streamline complex processes, with LyoSpeed™ enabling rapid lyophilization and concentration in a single step, and eXalt™ providing precise control for polymorph and solvent-switching studies.
We'd love to help you find a solution that best fits your needs at any stage of your project.
