FTS was founded in 1971 by former VirTis employees Fraser, Thompson, and Sutherland. The company started in a 1,400-square-foot barn in New Paltz, New York, and an office space in the basement of Thompson’s home. Now part of the SP and ATS family, FTS carries forward its legacy of innovation, delivering high-performance systems that empower scientists, engineers, and manufacturers to achieve consistent, reproducible results, no matter how demanding the conditions.
