Genevac was founded in 1990 by Dr. Michael Cole as a small, family-owned business specializing in Cole Vacuum Pumps (CVP) and basic centrifugal evaporators for life science research. In the mid-1990s, responding to the growing needs of combinatorial chemistry, Genevac developed a new class of High-Throughput Evaporators.
