High-throughput compound purification requires efficient sample tracking and solvent removal to maintain process integrity. This paper examines approaches for integrating preparative HPLC with evaporation systems using modular rack-based designs. The study compares traditional manual tube handling with automated or semi-automated rack carriers compatible across weighing, fraction collection, and drying stages. Results indicate that Genevac’s reinforced centrifuge-compatible racks and auto-balance technology substantially reduce drying times and handling errors while maintaining traceability across thousands of fractions.
