Accurate detection of nitrofuran antibiotic residues in food products demands high-efficiency sample preparation to meet strict EU regulatory limits. This research evaluates and refines evaporation methods used in residue analysis workflows, comparing rotary, blow-down, vortex, and centrifugal evaporation techniques. The centrifugal vacuum approach proved most effective, eliminating sample loss, cross-contamination, and solvent bumping while enabling unattended batch operation. The optimized protocol substantially reduced operator time and improved sample throughput without compromising recovery or analytical precision.
