Solvent removal is a critical downstream step in peptide and protein workflows. After chromatographic purification, fractions often need to be concentrated or dried for crystallization, assays, or storage. The method used can directly impact yield, biological activity, and reproducibility. Traditional methods such as membrane concentration, lyophilization, or rotary evaporation can introduce challenges, including sample loss, aggregation, long processing times, and high consumable costs.
Join Jay Oakley, our Genevac Subject Matter Expert, as we explore how the Genevac EZ-2 4.0 Series and HT Series 3i can support peptide and protein purification workflows by providing controlled, efficient solvent removal while protecting sensitive samples. We highlight how technologies such as eXalt™, LyoSpeed, Dri-Pure® anti-bumping technology, and SampleGuard™ temperature control enhance downstream processing and streamline workflow efficiency.
